Business for a Better World: Social Entrepreneurship in London

Social enterprises are businesses that are changing the world for the better. They aim to make a profit like traditional businesses–but it’s what they do with their profits that sets them apart–reinvesting or donating them to create positive social change. Social entrepreneurship is an attempt to use business techniques to develop innovative solutions for the world’s most pressing problems. This program will explore social entrepreneurship and socially responsible leadership through experiential learning, guest speakers and site visits within the UK’s vibrant community of social entrepreneurs. Through place-based learning, course readings and field research you will explore innovative solutions to one of the world’s seemingly intractable problems.

GEO program fees cover tuition, housing, breakfast, excursions, course materials, local transportation pass, and on-site orientation. Insurance and a 24-hour emergency service are also included. For information on scholarship funding, please visit the Scholarships & Aid page on our website.
